Chiara Stella Pesenti


Chiara Stella Pesenti, while attending classical studies, she graduated in 1994 in piano at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan under the tutoring of M° Minola. Then she started giving concerts and teaching piano, along with the activity of music education in schools. She explores also the practice and technique of singing with private lessons and being part of various choirs. Simultaneously, she develops a keen interest in Western pop music with ethnic influences; from 1995 to 1997 she plays and sings with Hammer Decode, a band that makes Peter Gabriel cover.

To follow her interest in the educational aspect of the music, in 2002 she graduated in Education Sciences with a thesis on listening and she starts holding instrumental and vocal workshops with people of every age, from children to seniors, especially with pre-adolescents and adolescents.

From 2000 to 2016 she directs different liturgical choirs. From 2009 to 2015 she sings within the Ensamble Magnificat di Caravaggio - choral and instrumental training that is dedicated to the study and interpretation of polyphonic instrumental literature of the century.
Since 2012 she has been collaborating with non-profit organization Le Vele in Trezzo and the association IL Germoglio in Vaprio d'Adda where she holds a singing workshop for people with emotional suffering. In 2016 she earned the Bachelor degree in Psychological Science that allows her to better understand the mental processes behind the musical experience.
