Paolo Viscardi was born in Bergamo, he studied classical guitar with Maestro Giorgio Oltremari at the Istituto Musicale "G. Donizetti ", where he graduated in 1999. He later attended mastertclasses held by great guitarists such as David Russell, Angelo Gilardino and Aniello Desiderio. In 2003 he graduated in Modern Literature with highest honors.
As a soloist and chamber musician with guitarist Mario Rota and with the soprano Giuseppina Colombi, he is regularly present at important music festivals in Lombardy.
He teaches guitar at the Music Academy "S. Cecilia in Bergamo "which is also the editor of the guitar orchestra.
Since 2011 he has been teaching guitar at the Music Secondary Schools.
Since 2010 he is the Director of the Project “Concertare per la vita – la musica del sangue” whose orchestra has performed several times at the Teatro Sociale di Bergamo.
He is the founder, director and guitarist of the Ensemble Santa Cecilia of Bergamo, active since 2005. The Ensemble has been invited to major festivals and concert seasons in Italy and abroad, including the festival delle X giornate di Brescia, the concerts of the Basilica di S.S. Giovanni e Paolo in Venice and the Festival Erik Satie in Arcueil (Paris). In 2015 the Ensemble has recorded his first album "El Circulo magical" produced by Classical Live.
